Location was great, we loved being near Lydgate Park and enjoyed walks down the beach. It was nice and quiet as well. Kids LOVED the pool!

The condo was beautiful and spotless. Owner let us check in earlier than what we were supposed to. We had a long night flight from Japan and were tired.

great views of the ocean and good access to Lydgate Park. we lived 1 1/2 mile away from Lydgate park for 4 1/2 years and used to walk the path right in front of the resort regularly. we love the area.

Location location. Not just an easy walk to the sea, but not even across the street. Just walk out the patio window across the lawn and onto the beach. Apartment is spacious and reasonably well equipped with a number of owner extras for guest use which are thoughtful, eg cool bag and ice blocks. The estate is very well maintained the gardens are lovely

SUCH a great value for Kauai. We usually stay at another property on the West side, but the prices there had gone up so much, we decided to try something new and we were thrilled with what we found at Castle Kaha Lani! Our room was lovely, clean, comfortable and spacious with a stunning ocean view. We spent mornings on the balcony with a cup of coffee and late afternoons with a glass of wine. The kitchen was SO well stocked - everything we could possibly have needed. BONUS was lots of beach equipment in our room - boogie board, flippers, chairs, mats, umbrella. I don't know if every room is equipped with all of that, but it was SO appreciated for our many beach days! The property is lovely as well with lots of tropical plants, plumeria, hibiscus and wildlife (as well as the omnipresent roosters/chickens - bring your earplugs!). The property is right on the beach and we took many walks down to Lydgate to snorkel, swim and hang out. We also enjoyed staying on the East side for this trip. Since it's closer to the center of the main island road, it's easier to get to other parts of the island. And Kapaa and Lihue are both close by with plenty of food and drink options. We were SO happy with our stay and will definitely stay again.
